Kratom Tea Review

kratom Tea uk

Kratom Infusion

Apparently it’s really effective for relaxation, and headaches, but you have to be really responsible with it.  It’s supposed to have a similar effect to codeine (I read that codeine is physically addictive after 11 days of continuous use as well, so that’s off the proverbial table).  Kratom can apparently make you constipated, and if you use it every day, over a number of months, you can get some withdrawals symptoms. A bit like caffeine.
This ‘withdrawal’ could mean anything really, it’s all a bit subjective, but after reading an article on Forbes, I thought I’d give kratom a go. I live in the UK, so ordered some from http://www.kratom.co.uk – Kratom Infusion tea bags which were half price.  They came the next day; my head was killing as usually so I was glad to come home and find them waiting.

The tea-bags contain 2g of kratom. I’ve read online of people taking 10g+; and that men in Thailand chew about 30 leaves a day; so figured it should be a safe dose. I let the tea stew for 5 minutes, and drank it down. Tasted just like green tea.  My headache was gone; but I fell asleep.  Not necessarily a bad thing. But the same thing happened the next day as well.  Although, the tea did get rid of my headache, I’m not sure that I’m going to be using it during the day – which is when I need it.  I’ve ordered a few different strains of kratom, thai maeng da and Bali.

I’ll report back on those when I’ve had a brew.  Some strains are supposed to be a bit more energising – you can also mix strains.  So we’ll see.  If you do use kratom for headaches/pain, try not to use it more than 2 or 3 times a week and check with your doctor before using it.

  1. Even when I’ve had some food before hand, Kratom makes me so nauseous everytime! 😦

yes, my stomach hasn’t been great since I used it, thought it might have been a big meal I had the night before. Will try necking some ginger with it next time!
