I’m now on day 8 if the ketogenic diet.
I made a huge mistake – not having enough pink Himalayan salt…ive read on several blogs that you need 10 to 12g per day. Although I can’t find an official recommendation of any sort.
I increased my salt and started supplementing my potassium 2 days ago and feel lots better. On day 6 I had terrible night sweats and naseua but again think this was down to the lack of electrolytes.
Don’t forget the pink salt on the ketogenic diet!
I’ve managed to half my caffeine intake too which is great, although my sinus headaches (bane of my life) are possibly slightly worse.
I definitely feel more alert though, everything’s a bit brighter and more vivid. Onto week 2…
Stayed at the inlaw’s last night, with the wife & baby. I normally am flat-out asleep until I get woken up by my wife before she leaves. This morning I was straight out of bed at 6am, despite baby going mental all night, demanding milk…she hurt her foot before bed so not sure it that’s why she turned into a milk monster.
More energy is exactly what I needed, so – so far, so good
