I’ve lost about half a stone since last year, I’ve made the completely irrational decision to try and put the weight back on thanks to my mild body-dysmorphia.
Despite that fact I look better at 86kg than 91kg. Anyway, I am going to aim for 4,000 calories for the next 4 weeks.
Diet will look something like this:
THIS IS NOT A GOOD DIET AS SUCH, BUT I HAVE IBS SO HAVE LOADS OF SMOOTHIES OR END UP DOING 8 POOPS A DAY.
I use unflavoured hemp protein from bulkpowders as my main-stay of protein. Ideally I’d eat more whole food and less powder, but like I said, this isn’t realistic for myself.
This is realistically what I will eat:
On Late Shifts
7am – Either poached eggs on toast or Protein Smoothie 30g Hemp Protein 15g hemp oil 1 banana 30g Flax seed powder Tumeric powder Wheatgrass Coconut milk 30g maltodextrin (unhealthy I know) Spinach – Blend everything – 700 calories
10am 30g Hemp Protein 15g hemp oil 1 banana 30g Flax seed powder Tumeric powder Wheatgrass Coconut milk 30g maltodextrin (unhealthy I know) 700 calories
11am 2 Rice cakes with peanut butter Protein drink with flax seed powder and hemp oil 600 calories
I leave for work about 11am, so my goal in the morning is to get in 2k calories.
1pm 20 nuts (mainly almonds) or nut-bar 350 calories
3pm Main meal Will be something reheated from home like a curry or risotto 2 pieces of bread 500 calories
Cereal bar 250 calories
6pm Banana Hemp Protein drink with oats & maltodextrin & coconut milk/almond milk 600 calories
8pm Banana Hemp Protein drink with oats & maltodextrin & coconut milk/almond milk 600 calories
10pm Hemp protein drink ZMA 200 calories
I will try and replace a drink with an actual meal where possible. I work in a call centre though and have no break between calls just an hour dinner.
I will also take fish oil 5-10g, probiotic tablet or drink and bromelain after training
That’s interesting man. I also have IBS but constipation dominant so I’m the complete opposite! That diet sounds like a challenge in itself, good luck with it!
Cheers mate. Yea it’s a bit of a mare isn’t it? I get a lot of nutrients via liquid/smoothies. I put garlic, spinach etc. in them sometimes. Just easier for me to digest. Have you tried green tea and psyllium husks?
