I think it would be a combination of both equations, because the punch is ultimately travelling upwards, along a circular arc, but will also be thrust forwards slightly at the end, as the arm is extended slightly.<\/p>\n<p>Please leave a comment below if you know!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blackbeltwhitehat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/rotationalforce1.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blackbeltwhitehat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/rotationalforce1.jpg?resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"jab from the waist\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Either way, Anderson is able to produce a significant amount of force, by whipping up his fist from below the focused line of vision of his opponent. \u00a0Something that Bruce Lee seemed to advocate:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/v8wL3AA4BP0?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-GB&#038;autohide=2&#038;start=25&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Bruce Lee&#8217;s 3rd Way of Attack<\/h2>\n<p>The 3rd of Bruce Lee&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/blackbeltwhitehat.com\/2015\/09\/30\/bruce-lee-5-ways-of-attack\/\">5 ways of attack<\/a>, is &#8220;attack by drawing&#8221;. \u00a0Get someone to open up &#8211; then counter.<\/p>\n<p>By dropping his hands, Anderson also goads his opponents into &#8216;opening up&#8217;, throwing punches themselves.
