{"id":3003,"date":"2015-06-07T20:47:11","date_gmt":"2015-06-07T20:47:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blackbeltwhitehat.com\/?page_id=3003"},"modified":"2015-08-18T19:44:27","modified_gmt":"2015-08-18T19:44:27","slug":"doubleleg","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blackbeltwhitehat.com\/en\/mma-articles\/technique\/doubleleg\/","title":{"rendered":"Finishing a failed double leg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This can be the make-or-break of any fight or grappling match.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of pulling guard, I always move to my knees when escaping side control etc, so I always end up on the bottom of another guys sprawl.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some techniques and tips to finish at takedown from knees or after the guy has sprawled:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Don&#8217;t stay on your knees if you don&#8217;t have hold of a leg.<br \/>\nCome up on to your feet and stick your bum in the air.<br \/>\nRotate round and try and throw your arm over like your trying to grab his armpit on the far side.<br \/>\nThis guy does something similar to this to escape an anaconda\/headlock. He keep dropping his level to set up the escape.
