Then after you breathe out, breathe in once more and hold for ten seconds.<\/p>\n<p>You have just done 1 round!<\/p>\n<p>Complete for 3 if possible<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the breathing is to oxygenate the blood, and increase pH.<\/p>\n<h2>The &#8216;Wim Hof Technique&#8217;- involves cold-therapy.<\/h2>\n<p>I <em>believe<\/em> the process\/course looks like this:<\/p>\n<p>week 1 &#8211; 30 second cold showers at the end of a normal shower<\/p>\n<p>week 2 &#8211; 30 seconds cold at the start, and then at the end<\/p>\n<p>Week 3 &#8211; 1 minute at the start and at the end<\/p>\n<p>Week 4 &#8211; 5 minutes<\/p>\n<p>Week 5 &#8211; 7 minutes cold shower<\/p>\n<p>Week 6 &#8211; 10 minutes<\/p>\n<p>To get the exact specifications, you need to sign up for Wim&#8217;s course. \u00a0Unfortunately. \u00a0Guy&#8217;s gotta make a living tho.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a good week by week diary here though &#8211;\u00a0http:\/\/www.timvandervliet.com\/wim-hof-method-week-5-recap-week-4\/<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been doing cold showers and breathing techniques every morning now.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also starting drinking a small amount of baking soda in water to further alkalise the body.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a tonic you can make with Apple Cider Vinegar and a pinch of baking soda <a href=\"http:\/\/steptohealth.com\/water-plus-vinegar-and-baking-soda-health-miracle\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A glass of warm or hot water, because cold water could be harmful to the liver.<\/li>\n<li>A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.<\/li>\n<li>A pinch of baking soda<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Wim Hof! \u00a0Is amazing.
