Muchas de estas diferencias de opini\u00f3n se deben a los diferentes trasfondos y fuentes de datos que sustentan la nutrici\u00f3n cl\u00ednica y hol\u00edstica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Por qu\u00e9 la nutrici\u00f3n cl\u00ednica es una tonter\u00eda<br \/>\n<\/strong>Cuando hice mi maestr\u00eda en la Universidad de Chester, en 2003, uno de los profesores, un m\u00e9dico, nos hablaba sobre la zona de quema de grasa. \u00a1Genial! Un concepto que se populariz\u00f3 en los 90.<br \/>\nUno de los problemas de la nutrici\u00f3n cl\u00ednica es que una teor\u00eda o concepto debe probarse sin lugar a dudas, en estudios repetibles, etc., antes de poder defenderse.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora bien, uno de los principales problemas con esto es la financiaci\u00f3n de la investigaci\u00f3n. \u00bfRecuerdan la campa\u00f1a de selfies sin maquillaje en Facebook que recaud\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 8 millones de libras? Eso financi\u00f3 9 estudios, \u00a19! Cuesta m\u00e1s de 800.000 libras por estudio. \u00a1800.000 libras!<\/p>\n<p>Debido a este enorme costo, compa\u00f1\u00edas farmac\u00e9uticas como Lucozade terminan &quot;patrocinando&quot; estudios. Tomemos como ejemplo la campa\u00f1a de marketing &quot;33% m\u00e1s larga&quot; de Lucozade, basada en un estudio universitario. La universidad que realiz\u00f3 el estudio recibi\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 100 mil d\u00f3lares para realizarlo, y casualmente descubrieron que Lucozade mejoraba el rendimiento en exactamente un tercio. EXACTAMENTE un tercio. Pero desconf\u00eden. Adem\u00e1s, no promocionaron la mejora del rendimiento de ning\u00fan ingrediente individual como la maltodextrina; no, se refer\u00edan al producto de marca espec\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<p>Para resumir mi punto, cuando hay suficiente investigaci\u00f3n para respaldar algo &quot;nuevo&quot; en nutrici\u00f3n desde un punto de vista cl\u00ednico, ya est\u00e1 desfasado. Incluso cuando hay muchos estudios que &quot;demuestran&quot; algo, siempre resulta sospechoso debido a la financiaci\u00f3n y la corrupci\u00f3n que se producen entre bastidores.<\/p>\n<p>Los nutricionistas cl\u00ednicos, por ejemplo, todav\u00eda podr\u00edan decirle que el aspartamo est\u00e1 bien.<br \/>\nTe dir\u00e1n que comas una dieta alta en carbohidratos y baja en grasas, y que las grasas saturadas son malas para ti.<\/p>\n<p>Quiz\u00e1s tengan raz\u00f3n; \u00a1todas las teor\u00edas son confusas! Pero, para su informaci\u00f3n, est\u00e1n surgiendo investigaciones que sugieren que el problema de las dietas occidentales no son las grasas saturadas, sino la inflamaci\u00f3n causada por sustancias qu\u00edmicas, el exceso de omega 6 y az\u00facar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Por qu\u00e9 la nutrici\u00f3n deportiva tambi\u00e9n es una tonter\u00eda<\/strong><br \/>\nSe centra en el rendimiento a corto plazo en detrimento de la salud y los objetivos a largo plazo. Si tu dieta es deficiente, tomar prote\u00edna de suero despu\u00e9s de entrenar y consumir creatina en grandes cantidades no aliviar\u00e1 la confusi\u00f3n mental ni el malestar general que puedas sentir.<br \/>\nNuevamente, muchos estudios est\u00e1n \u2018patrocinados\u2019 por empresas de nutrici\u00f3n deportiva (el estudio Lucozade es el mejor ejemplo).<br \/>\nMike Dolce est\u00e1 detr\u00e1s de un cambio en la industria y aboga por una nutrici\u00f3n saludable en lugar de una nutrici\u00f3n deportiva miope. Ojal\u00e1 siga as\u00ed por mucho tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>Si un nutricionista deportivo o de alto rendimiento intenta vender su producto Herbalife o Juice Plus, usted tiene derecho legal a abofetearlo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nutrici\u00f3n Hol\u00edstica \u2013 probablemente el mejor \u00e1ngulo<br \/>\n<\/strong>La nutrici\u00f3n hol\u00edstica se centra en un enfoque m\u00e1s &quot;natural&quot;.<br \/>\nLa nutrici\u00f3n cl\u00ednica es un poco como la medicina cl\u00ednica, s\u00f3lo que se centra en los s\u00edntomas a corto plazo, etc.<br \/>\nLa nutrici\u00f3n hol\u00edstica puede basarse en conocimientos de la medicina ayurv\u00e9dica o la medicina china, por ejemplo.
