No son muchas las ocasiones en que, como adulto, la persona promedio se pone en esta situaci\u00f3n vulnerable, pero t\u00fa deber\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Como principiante en BJJ, es normal que te estrangulen (bueno, si no te rindes, lo har\u00e1s), te sometan con diversas llaves de brazo y llaves, y, en general, te lancen un poco. Un buen club de BJJ te lo tomar\u00e1 con calma e intentar\u00e1 que tus primeras clases sean constructivas a la vez que dif\u00edciles. La sensaci\u00f3n de desesperanza te har\u00e1 triunfar o te destruir\u00e1. Quiz\u00e1s simplemente no sea para ti; est\u00e1 bien, pero \u00bfquiz\u00e1s tu ego no lo soporta? Adem\u00e1s, como practicante de BJJ, no seas uno de esos tipos con el cerebro lavado que menosprecia otros estilos de artes marciales. El BJJ es incre\u00edble, pero tambi\u00e9n lo son muchas otras artes marciales. S\u00e9 humilde contigo mismo y con tu arte marcial, y acepta que otros estilos tambi\u00e9n tienen mucho que ofrecer; el muay thai, el judo y la lucha libre son ejemplos obvios.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>\n<h2>El obst\u00e1culo es el camino<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>La vida est\u00e1 llena de dificultades y el deporte es la mejor manera de simularlas. El BJJ es un deporte f\u00edsico y mental que se basa en la destreza, la sincronizaci\u00f3n, la t\u00e9cnica, la flexibilidad y una mentalidad ajedrec\u00edstica de anticipaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como en la capacidad de preparar y atrapar al oponente. La fuerza, sin duda, tambi\u00e9n ayuda, pero especialmente con el kimono, su impacto es limitado.<\/p>\n<p>Entonces, despu\u00e9s de tus primeras sesiones de desgarramiento y asfixia, \u00bfsentir\u00e1s ira y frustraci\u00f3n? \u00a1Casi seguro que s\u00ed! Pero debes usar estas emociones para motivarte o disociarte de ellas y ser objetivo. El fracaso es previsible, pero es una experiencia importante que todos debemos compartir para poder apreciar verdaderamente la victoria. Para continuar, debes superar o aceptar tu ego, pero no dejes que se interponga en tu progreso, ya que es un h\u00e1bito terrible que te afectar\u00e1 en todos los aspectos de la vida.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de un par de sesiones de BJJ, si te sientes desmotivado, deber\u00edas asumir la situaci\u00f3n dif\u00edcil en la que te encuentras y fingir que le est\u00e1 sucediendo a otra persona. \u00bfQu\u00e9 aconsejar\u00edas? \u00bfRendirte o aceptar el reto y seguir adelante?<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>\n<h2>Miedo al conflicto y manejo de la ira<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Vivimos en una sociedad muy est\u00e9ril y pasivo-agresiva (los oficinistas lo hacen de todos modos). Es cierto que el t\u00edpico contador o encargado de compras rara vez experimenta conflictos y agresiones en su d\u00eda a d\u00eda (aunque entiendo que es diferente en los puestos de atenci\u00f3n al cliente). Estar\u00e1s completamente exhausto despu\u00e9s de 30 segundos y terminar\u00e1s inconsciente por asfixia. Adem\u00e1s, en un deporte tan t\u00e9cnico, ir a toda velocidad contra cualquiera con la habilidad de un buen cintur\u00f3n azul solo te llevar\u00e1 a una muerte m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida de lo normal: si te impulsas hacia adelante, te barrer\u00e1n, si agarras un kimono con todas tus fuerzas, te har\u00e1n una llave de brazo o te romper\u00e1s el agarre, dej\u00e1ndote pr\u00e1cticamente indefenso. Mant\u00e9n la calma, elige momentos espec\u00edficos para usar la potencia o la fuerza explosiva, \u00a1pero mantente relajado cuando puedas!<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>\n<h2>BJJ es una comunidad<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Todos necesitamos un sentido de pertenencia. Ser parte de una <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/20686921\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La comunidad es extremadamente importante<\/a> Hemos evolucionado como animales tribales y muchos experimentamos la solitaria existencia del d\u00eda de la marmota: conducir de ida y vuelta al trabajo durante dos horas al d\u00eda y sentarnos en una taquilla con aire acondicionado y luz artificial, mirando la computadora durante ocho horas m\u00e1s. La comunidad es importante para la salud mental, y el BJJ es sin duda una de ellas. Los que te abrumaban en el tatami la semana pasada, ahora te apoyan. Supongo que es una simulaci\u00f3n (relativamente suave) de entrar en combate que ayuda a forjar amistades de hermandad.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>\n<h2>BJJ te motiva a hacer entrenamientos funcionales<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Este ha sido uno de los grandes beneficios para m\u00ed: las MMA y el BJJ han demostrado que ser un musculoso no te ayuda a ser mejor luchador. La fuerza ayuda mucho en las MMA, pero no compensa la t\u00e9cnica, la condici\u00f3n f\u00edsica, la flexibilidad ni la fuerza funcional en las MMA. As\u00ed que el press de banca y el press de piernas han quedado en el olvido, y ahora hay una variedad de movimientos basados en el yoga, ejercicios de fortalecimiento del core, pesas rusas e incluso algunos levantamientos ol\u00edmpicos. Desafortunadamente, los curls de b\u00edceps tambi\u00e9n han desaparecido. Entrenar en MMA o BJJ una vez a la semana, o incluso de vez en cuando, te permite experimentar los beneficios de entrenamientos espec\u00edficos, y el entrenamiento con pesas, como el culturismo, no parece ayudar en absoluto. Los entrenamientos funcionales son mejores para la salud general y pierdes la ambici\u00f3n de convertirte en un culturista descomunal, lo cual es un objetivo bastante perjudicial (al menos, creo).<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>\n<h2>El estilo de vida del BJJ de optimizaci\u00f3n humana<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>S\u00ed, disculpen por usar el t\u00e9rmino &quot;optimizaci\u00f3n humana&quot;, pero es la mejor manera de describir el enfoque que muchos adoptan para mejorar su juego de BJJ. Lo que hacen fuera del tatami es casi tan importante como lo que hacen dentro, por lo que muchos optan por meditar, visualizar, practicar yoga y comer alimentos org\u00e1nicos y limpios para intentar obtener una ventaja en el BJJ. Obviamente, esto tiene innumerables beneficios para la salud que tambi\u00e9n se trasladan a la vida cotidiana. Estar rodeado de personas que se toman en serio su salud te har\u00e1 hacer lo mismo.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque las lesiones agudas son relativamente poco comunes en el BJJ, hay que tener cuidado con las lesiones a largo plazo. Si vas a empezar a entrenar y tienes m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os, quiz\u00e1s quieras hablar o escribirle primero al instructor. Actualmente entreno poco porque estoy priorizando otras cosas, pero dentro de un a\u00f1o, m\u00e1s o menos, mi objetivo es hacer yoga dos veces por semana y BJJ una vez por semana. Mucha gente dir\u00e1 que esto no es suficiente, pero todo depende de tus objetivos: si quieres divertirte, seguir formando parte de la comunidad y mantener tu nivel, dir\u00eda que una vez por semana est\u00e1 bien; sin embargo, si quieres seguir el ritmo de los j\u00f3venes y ascender de cintur\u00f3n, deber\u00edas considerar al menos tres veces por semana. Pero no dejes que esto te desanime, puedes lograr grandes avances y obtener muchos beneficios entrenando dos veces por semana, solo tendr\u00e1s que practicar mucho y trabajar en movimientos espec\u00edficos y en tu estado f\u00edsico cuando puedas hacerlo. Seguir\u00e1s progresando, solo que un poco m\u00e1s lento que aquellos que entrenan en el tatami con m\u00e1s frecuencia.<\/p>\n<p>Muchos de los beneficios del BJJ se pueden atribuir a cualquier arte marcial o deporte.
