Entre a t\u00edbia e o f\u00eamur encontra-se o menisco, que atua como um amortecedor, distribuindo o peso e melhorando a estabilidade da articula\u00e7\u00e3o. O menisco \u00e9 o que a maioria das pessoas considera a &quot;cartilagem&quot; do joelho. A maior parte da for\u00e7a e estabilidade do joelho \u00e9 fornecida pelos ligamentos, que s\u00e3o faixas de tecido fortes e el\u00e1sticas que conectam os ossos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les\u00f5es no joelho: Devido \u00e0 sua estrutura e ao seu papel na sustenta\u00e7\u00e3o do peso, o joelho \u00e9 um local comum de les\u00f5es em esportes de contato e atividades que dependem de rota\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pida durante a sustenta\u00e7\u00e3o do peso, como o MMA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Assim como em todas as outras articula\u00e7\u00f5es, as les\u00f5es no joelho podem ser divididas em 3 categorias:&nbsp;<br>\u00b7 Trauma de evento \u00fanico (agudo)&nbsp;<br>\u00b7 Les\u00e3o aguda sobre les\u00e3o cr\u00f4nica&nbsp;<br>\u2022 Les\u00f5es por repeti\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00faltipla (ou cr\u00f4nicas).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Os princ\u00edpios para o tratamento de cada tipo de les\u00e3o foram abordados em um artigo anterior, portanto, aqui nos concentraremos em les\u00f5es espec\u00edficas. As les\u00f5es mais comuns em lutadores de MMA geralmente envolvem o ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA), o ligamento colateral medial (LCM) e tamb\u00e9m o menisco medial (MM) (cartilagem na parte interna do joelho).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les\u00f5es de ligamentos e meniscos&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Les\u00f5es ligamentares podem ser causadas por for\u00e7as externas ou internas. As for\u00e7as externas v\u00eam do seu oponente (ou de um parceiro de treino muito agressivo!) e podem ser provenientes de um golpe (na articula\u00e7\u00e3o ou abaixo dela) ou de uma chave de bra\u00e7o, como uma chave de joelho. As for\u00e7as internas s\u00e3o o estresse fisiol\u00f3gico causado por biomec\u00e2nica incorreta, como n\u00e3o permitir que a perna de apoio gire durante um chute circular, um clinch ou uma queda. O LCM (ligamento colateral medial) se lesiona por for\u00e7a excessiva que flexiona o joelho para dentro (chute forte ou pis\u00e3o na parte externa do joelho ou t\u00e9cnica\/biomec\u00e2nica inadequada em varreduras e proje\u00e7\u00f5es). O LCA, o LCM e o menisco medial podem se lesionar simultaneamente, causando o que \u00e9 conhecido como &quot;tr\u00edade infeliz&quot;. Les\u00f5es no menisco medial geralmente causam dor, incha\u00e7o, travamento articular ou incapacidade de estender completamente a articula\u00e7\u00e3o devido a um fragmento do menisco bloqueando fisicamente o movimento do joelho.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ent\u00e3o, como saber se voc\u00ea rompeu o LCA? Bem, se voc\u00ea sentir uma dor aguda no joelho, uma sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de que ele cedeu e ouvir um estalo repentino, seguido de incha\u00e7o imediato e dificuldade para apoiar todo o peso no corpo, \u00e9 prov\u00e1vel que voc\u00ea tenha rompido o LCA! Se, no entanto, voc\u00ea sentir apenas uma sensa\u00e7\u00e3o de ruptura, \u00e9 prov\u00e1vel que tenha rompido o LCM, que n\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e3o grave quanto uma ruptura do LCA... mas ainda assim \u00e9 ruim!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Se voc\u00ea acha que sofreu uma les\u00e3o nos ligamentos ou meniscos, dirija-se imediatamente ao pronto-socorro para uma avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da les\u00e3o. Se voc\u00ea rompeu o ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA), provavelmente ser\u00e1 necess\u00e1ria uma cirurgia de repara\u00e7\u00e3o, seguida de 6 a 9 meses de reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o antes do retorno \u00e0s competi\u00e7\u00f5es. A reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 detalhada e longa, portanto, um fisioterapeuta credenciado acompanhar\u00e1 sua recupera\u00e7\u00e3o desde o primeiro dia at\u00e9 o retorno \u00e0s competi\u00e7\u00f5es. As rupturas do ligamento colateral medial (LCM), no entanto, geralmente s\u00e3o tratadas com imobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o e deixadas para cicatrizar sem cirurgia, enquanto uma ruptura do menisco pode exigir artroscopia (cirurgia minimamente invasiva).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tratamento conservador (n\u00e3o cir\u00fargico) de les\u00f5es no joelho<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Como sempre acontece com les\u00f5es agudas no joelho, o m\u00e9todo PRICE (Prote\u00e7\u00e3o, Repouso, Gelo, Compress\u00e3o e Eleva\u00e7\u00e3o) \u00e9 a pr\u00e1tica padr\u00e3o. O paciente deve aplicar prote\u00e7\u00e3o, repouso, gelo, compress\u00e3o e eleva\u00e7\u00e3o, e, em seguida, consultar seu m\u00e9dico ou fisioterapeuta para obter medicamentos e tratamentos fisioter\u00e1picos. O uso de \u00f3rteses tamb\u00e9m pode ser indicado nos est\u00e1gios iniciais. Quando a propriocep\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 comprometida ap\u00f3s uma les\u00e3o ligamentar, a articula\u00e7\u00e3o pode parecer inst\u00e1vel, o que pode aumentar o risco de nova les\u00e3o. O treinamento proprioceptivo reeduca o corpo para controlar a posi\u00e7\u00e3o de uma articula\u00e7\u00e3o lesionada. A melhor maneira de realiz\u00e1-lo \u00e9 ficar em p\u00e9 sobre a perna lesionada, com os olhos fechados, e medir o tempo que voc\u00ea consegue se manter est\u00e1vel. \u00c0 medida que voc\u00ea melhora, aumente a dificuldade ficando em p\u00e9 sobre uma superf\u00edcie inst\u00e1vel (por exemplo, uma prancha de equil\u00edbrio ou um trampolim). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uma melhor propriocep\u00e7\u00e3o aprimorar\u00e1 seus chutes, arremessos, quedas, contra-ataques e equil\u00edbrio geral.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Dica: Mesmo que voc\u00ea n\u00e3o esteja lesionado, treine esse aspecto do seu jogo; nunca trabalhei com um atleta cuja propriocep\u00e7\u00e3o fosse boa demais!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treinamento alternativo - Treine adaptando-se \u00e0 les\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Um dos principais objetivos da reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 manter seus n\u00edveis de condicionamento cardiovascular. Por exemplo, se voc\u00ea sofrer uma les\u00e3o em um membro inferior, em vez de correr na rua, experimente a hidrogin\u00e1stica com cinto de flutua\u00e7\u00e3o (correr em p\u00e9 em uma piscina sem que seus p\u00e9s toquem o fundo). Voc\u00ea, seu treinador e seu fisioterapeuta devem trabalhar juntos para elaborar programas de treinamento alternativos o mais r\u00e1pido poss\u00edvel, principalmente se voc\u00ea for um lutador competitivo. Al\u00e9m do condicionamento cardiovascular, voc\u00ea pode aproveitar o per\u00edodo de les\u00e3o para fortalecer \u00e1reas mais fracas, sejam elas f\u00edsicas, mentais, t\u00e9cnicas ou t\u00e1ticas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retorno aos treinos\/competi\u00e7\u00f5es ap\u00f3s les\u00e3o<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Dependendo da natureza e da gravidade da les\u00e3o, a fisioterapia pode levar muitos meses at\u00e9 que voc\u00ea retorne aos treinos ou competi\u00e7\u00f5es em sua plenitude. A grande variedade de les\u00f5es no joelho resulta em tempos de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o e reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o bastante distintos, sendo que a maioria das les\u00f5es ligamentares e meniscais costuma exigir meses de reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o, independentemente de ter havido cirurgia ou n\u00e3o. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uma les\u00e3o no LCA (ligamento cruzado anterior) o manter\u00e1 fora de competi\u00e7\u00e3o por 6 a 9 meses. Como em qualquer les\u00e3o, para retornar aos treinos\/competi\u00e7\u00f5es completos, voc\u00ea deve considerar o risco de nova les\u00e3o e a capacidade de lutar\/atuar em um n\u00edvel satisfat\u00f3rio. Para retornar \u00e0 competi\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio restaurar totalmente a for\u00e7a, a resist\u00eancia, a flexibilidade e a propriocep\u00e7\u00e3o. Em les\u00f5es por esfor\u00e7o repetitivo, \u00e9 importante identificar a atividade espec\u00edfica que causou a les\u00e3o inicial para que essa atividade possa ser evitada ou o treinamento modificado.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este \u00e9 apenas um breve resumo das les\u00f5es no joelho que voc\u00ea pode sofrer durante o treinamento e competi\u00e7\u00e3o de MMA, al\u00e9m de um guia b\u00e1sico sobre os princ\u00edpios de tratamento e reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o.
