I’ve done several things to try and improve my recovery, and reduce the general amount of inflammation in my body; including giving up milk and gluten.
I started taking fish oil a while ago, but taking krill oil 2/3 times per day, makes a massive difference to my joints.
Inflammation in the body, really fcuks you up to, it’s strongly correlated to all kinds of diseases.
It’s important to have get the right ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 in the diet. Too much omega 6 in your diet can, in general, cause your body to get really inflamed.
Krill oil is the most concentrated form of omega 3 that I am aware of, and it has really made me feel ‘better’ and less inflamed.
I still ache and have to use a foam roller etc. but things have improved significantly.
If you have really painful and tight muscles – try a foam roller, if that doesn’t work, then try using a lacrosse ball for myofascial release. Krill oil and magnesium spray can also help reduce the aches and pains.
Krill oil is really good for your CV system too.
