Solgar Ashwagandha Review

Not too much to say about this product, other than it’s very good!

It’s a great adaptogen for dealing with stress and as well as a promoted of physical and mental energy.

It’s also good for you, which is a big bonus making it a great supplement for when you want to have a break from caffeine!

There is some good research behind ashwagandha too

Along with arjuna, it has been show to increase physical performance – study here.

Even with elite athletes, 8 weeks of supplements ashwagandha resulted in increased time to exhaustion in treadmill tests – study here.

There was significant improvement in the experimental group in all parameters, whereas the placebo group did not show any change with respect to their baseline parameters. There was significant improvement in the experimental group in all parameters, namely, VO2 max (t = 5.356; P < 0.001), METS (t = 4.483; P < 0.001), and time for exhaustion on treadmill (t = 4.813; P < 0.001) in comparison to the placebo group which did not show any change with respect to their baseline parameters.

This is obviously of great interest to anyone who competes in Martial Arts!

Ashwagandha is also great for mental health
