The Chimp Paradox – Stone of Life

Not really MMA related, but I’ve been meaning to do this for ages

In the book the Chimp Paradox – the author suggests creating your own ‘stone of life’ which are basically 3 or 4 principles or rules to accept and live your life by.

My Stone of Life example

  1. There will always be uncertainty about the future – accept it
  2. Targets and circumstances constantly move – be flexible
  3. Shit happens – react positively
  4. Feel the fear and do it anyway – act positively in spite of fear
  5. You don’t have to liked to everyone – expect people not to like you and accept it as part of being human & having a personality – which is better than being overly shy and a people pleaser

 

That’s it!  for now – there’s a much better example here
